Urgent Resources

During our business hours, the Counseling Center has clinicians available for same-day urgent appointments. These are brief (15-30 minute) one-time appointments for students feeling overwhelming distress such as:

• Thoughts of harming themselves or others.
• Experienced a recent traumatic event.

If you need to talk to someone after hours, please call the Rosecrance Crisis Line at 217-359-
4141 to speak with a local mental health clinician.

If you need immediate assistance, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
